Berlin, to be honest, is one of the single best decisions I have ever made in my life. Living in Germany brings many wonderful privileges, and after spending most of my years in Hessen and Bavaria, I can now confidently say that Berlin is the absolute best place to be.
There are so many reasons I could list right now. Above all, it offers an incredible variety of food, distinct neighborhoods, and dynamic lifestyles. If you happen to enjoy like me vibrant global cities like New York, Seoul, or Istanbul, you will find yourself in such a sweet spot here. In my view, Berlin brilliantly captures the flair of a metrofinancial city combined with the cozy charm of a small town, which feels like a perfect balance to me. On top of that, the weather has been surprisingly lovely, and the air feels so fresh that you might think you are right next to a peaceful nature reserve.

I genuinely enjoy taking time to reflect at the end of each month. Looking back on July 2026 so far, I realized I was so wrapped up in work that I did not do much in my personal life beyond sleeping, relaxing, and giving myself time to recharge. Furthermore, global news has been quite overwhelming lately, so I have intentionally stepped back from watching it. On one hand, it makes me sad, and on the other hand, there is not much one can directly control. Additionally, we experienced some intense heatwaves recently, which definitely felt unusual for Germany.
Personal Projects & Goals
On the bright side, I managed to update my LinkedIn along with my other social media profiles. I am also currently preparing to jump back into creating content for my YouTube channels. Looking ahead, I am optimistic that starting next year, I will have far more room for my hobby projects. Reflecting on July, I was honestly surprised that I did not take more photos or even dedicate a single full day to photography, but I am fully committed to changing that very soon.
Finding My Groove & Engineering with AI
I have learned that whenever you relocate to a new city, it naturally takes a few months to get into your rhythm. It has been six months now, and I am proud to say I feel completely settled in.
On the professional front, work has been genuinely fulfilling. I am having a fantastic time in my role at AWS, and I am super grateful for this milestone on my career journey, especially from an engineering perspective. Day in and day out, I am experimenting with artificial intelligence and building new solutions every single day. Being right at the center of innovation makes it truly exciting to see what is happening in tech right now.
Vacation Plans, Tech & Education
Looking at the calendar, I spent time thinking about how to handle my time off this year. Ultimately, I decided to take a few extended weekends for now and plan a proper getaway around December. I am thinking of flying somewhere warm and sunny, especially since Berlin winters get cold.
